In this webinar, Dr. Petitjean will briefly introduce the instrumentation and the biophysical aspects of SHG coupled to TPEF for non-destructive tissue imaging, as well as the fundamental concepts used in the development of tissue-specific image analysis and quantification for fibrosis.

Dr. Chen will illustrate how the method is applied for Idiopatic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) quantification and anti-fibrotic compound development in a pre-clinical set up, or fibrotic patient study and stratification (in comparison to Metavir scores for instance).

This webinar will be held on Wednesday, 8th June at 11:00am (EDT). For more information and to register, please click here.

Advances in Tissue Imaging: Non-Destructive, Stain-Free, Novel Techniques for Digital Pathology and Research

Dr. Prof. Christian Schwentner, Professor of Urology and Urological Oncology Department of Urology, University Hospital of Tuebingen, Germany, will be sharing his knowledge on this platform.

Dr. Petitjean (from MedNest) will briefly introduce the technical and practical aspects of SHG coupled with TPEF for preclinical and clinical research applications, after which, Prof. Christian Schwentner will speak about his own use of the Genesis Imaging System to characterise extracellular matrix profiles in prostate and bladder cancer and will make a comparison with traditional staining.

This free Webinar will be broadcast on 30th September 2015 at 12:00pm (EDT).

Webinar : Fibro-C-Index

http://histoindex.com/UploadedImg/images/Webinar.jpg

Liver fibrosis is a result of wound healing responses with resultant accumulation of collagen. During the webinar, we will introduce the Fibro-C-Index and explain how this morphology-based algorithm improves the sensitivity of the SHG quantification system for fibrosis detection. The speaker is Dr. Dean Tai, Chief Scientific Officer at Histoindex Pte. Ltd.
